In March, Curbed featured the home at 65 Dune Road in East Quogue when it went on the market for $18.75 million right near Eli Manning’s summer home. The home just cut $1.8 million from the asking price—putting it for sale now at $16.95 million.
The 9,000-square-foot home has won multiple awards in architecture for its design concept, according to listing agent Robert Canberg of Nest Seekers. Located on a 1.4-acre oceanfront parcel, the home was designed with ocean views being the focus of the home.
There are eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, views of both the ocean and the bay, an elevator, 12-foot ceilings throughout, a heated saltwater infinity edge pool, an outdoor chef’s kitchen, a wine cellar, a sundeck off the master suite, and a two-car garage.
At the time it was put on the market, a Nest Seekers representative told Curbed that interest had been shown from potential buyers, including a prominent NFL player—however, there are some downsides to the property. The home is visible from the street and the walls of glass don’t provide much privacy.
