It’s only a mile from the beach

The home at 31 Meeting House Lane in Amagansett was just listed under agent Gary DePersia of Corcoran Group Real Estate with an asking price of $4,995,000. Built in 1927, the traditional style home has 4,500 square feet of living space on a half-acre parcel, with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms.

Located just over a mile from the ocean, it would take a little more than 20 minutes to walk to the beach from the property—or, about five minutes. Nearby is the Amagansett National Wildlife Refuge, Atlantic Avenue Town Park, Atlantic Double Dunes Preserve, and Indian Wells Beach.

While there are no water views from the property—and the home is on only a half-acre lot—the proximity to the ocean is giving the home a decent amount of value.

Original details can still be found throughout the home, including the original drawing room. The kitchen, master wing, and living room have all been updated.

Outside, there’s a heated pool, brick patio, landscaping, and a legal one-bedroom cottage.
