Lazy Point estate asking $9.1M is one of the most expensive homes for sale in Napeague

Amagansett is one of the most affordable towns in the Hamptons, and nearby Napeague tends to be similar in price. A $9.1 million bayfront estate on Lazy Point just came on the market under listing agent Sandy Morell of Corcoran Group Real Estate, and in doing so became one of the most expensive homes for sale in the area.

In the immediate surrounding area of Lazy Point, it is by far the most expensive home for sale—the closest following in price is a 1,500 square foot waterfront home on Old Lazy Point Road asking just under $4.7 million.

The home, located at 621 Lazy Point Road, was built in 2000 and currently stands 3,500 square feet on 5.34 acres of land. There are four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, and has 203-feet of beach frontage on Napeague Bay.

Last sold in 2001 for $2,575,000, the home has significantly increased in asking price in its 17 years since originally having been built.

By the look of the listing photos, it seems that there have been some updates made—the wood floors look up to date, the kitchen looks brand new, and the bathrooms appear to have been recently updated.

The open floor plan in the living and dining spaces and the glass-front railing surrounding the outdoor deck give the home a contemporary finish.
