2 luxury Hamptons homes go into contract

Big spenders

Bespoke Real Estate

The real estate market in the Hamptons made a comeback in the second quarter of 2017, with the high end market performing particularly well compared to 2016. It looks like the third quarter is getting off to a decent start as well, with two high-end luxury Hamptons homes going into contract.

Both homes are represented by Bespoke Real Estate, the real estate firm which is “tailored for $10 million and above.”

The ocean view home at 176 Meadowlark Lane in Bridgehampton went into contract with an asking price of $14.75 million—the same price that the home went on the market for just two months ago. The property last sold in 2015 for $5.375 million.

The new construction that currently occupies the address has 11,000 square feet of living space, eight bedrooms, 10.5 bathrooms, 26-foot high ceilings in the entrance foyer, floor-to-ceiling walls of glass, a 1,400-square-foot rooftop deck, and an elevator that serves all three floors.

Moving a bit over to Sagaponack, the home at 138 Seascape Lane is in contract under a $19.995 million asking price, most recently asking $23.5 million until March of this year. The home is a bit smaller, but is situated on a larger waterfront property in an extremely private setting. The home is 4,700 square feet in size with six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms on almost two acres of land.

Designed by the notable Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects, this home features a crushed seashell driveway, detached pool house with full kitchen, shower with ocean views, a custom raised infinity edge heated pool, 3,100 square feet of decking and exterior entertaining space, radiant heat, Ban Olufsen sound system, two outdoor showers, and two indoor fireplaces.

Let’s see how the rest of the quarter is for real estate sales in the Hamptons.
