Dune Road home asking $2.3M for 1,555 sq. ft. and private cove beach

A beach cottage for those who need some privacy

We all dream of having our own private beach. Maybe that private beach is on an island that only you and your dogs inhabit, or perhaps it’s just a sandy piece from which you can watch the beachgoers from a distance but not hear any of the noise that comes with a hot summer day.

A home on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach just came on the market with a $2.3 million asking price that has somewhat of a private beach on the property. Maybe it’s not the island one’s been dreaming about, but hey, a private beach is a private beach.

It looks like the future homeowner will be sharing the private cove beach with their neighbor’s dock and waterside pool.

The cove-front property is surrounded by six acres of preserved land, deeded ocean access to the other side of Dune Road via a private pathway, and has unobstructed views of Quantuck Bay.

The cedar shingle style beach house has 1,555-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an eat-in kitchen.
