Don Peebles puts his Hamptons home on the market for $10M

New, 4 comments

It was up for $14M back in 2016

Don Peebles, a real estate developer and former member of the National Finance committee under Barack Obama, listed his Sag Harbor home at 1100 Brick Kiln Road for $9,995,000, reports the New York Post.

Peebles purchased the home in 2007 for $5.39 million, and listed it in March of 2016 for $14 million with Sotheby’s International Realty. After just under five months on the market, the listing was removed.

Now, a year later, the home is back up for sale with a $4 million lower asking price under listing agent Paul Brennan of Douglas Elliman.

The 7,140-square-foot home sits on over ten acres of land north of the highway. The home is located about a mile-and-a-half away from Sag Harbor village, or a five-minute drive. The main house has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms—plus, a wrought-iron gated entrance and a deer fencing enclosure surrounding the property.

Outside, there are specimen trees and shrubbery, an expansive lawn, two guest houses, and conservatory.

Inside, there is a three-story marble staircase, marbled foyer, three fireplaces, and three-story dumbwaiter.
