Built in 1930, the home at 295 North Sea Mecox Road was once featured in ELLE DECOR, according to an old listing on Sotheby’s International Realty. There’s reason to believe the floral wallpaper was at least part of what grabbed someone’s attention.
The three-bedroom, two-bath cottage has floral wallpaper throughout the home. Even in its recent update, the wallpaper has remained a focal point in the living and dining spaces. One might not even immediately notice the white brick fireplace in the living room.
The three bedrooms include an oversized master with ensuite bathroom on the first floor, and two guest rooms on the second.
The kitchen—which is brand new—has marble counter tops and overlooks the backyard from the window.
This was the kitchen before the update.
The home was last sold in 2015 for $775,000 after being on the market for a little over nine months. In early May, the home returned to the market with an asking price of $945,000.
