In January of 2016, the compound with addresses 133 & 155 Captains Neck Lane in Southampton came on the market for $18 million with listing agent Harald Grant of Sotheby’s International Realty. This weekend, the properties saw their third price cut since coming on the market—the asking price is now $14.95 million.
The first—and biggest—price cut happened a year ago, taking $2.5 million from the asking price and going down to $15.5 million, which came out to a 13.9 percent cut. The price actually went up a month later, to $15,995,000.
In August, the price went down to $15.75 million. That stuck for ten months, up until this weekend.
There is a home on one of the properties, while the other is an empty 1.8 acre lot. The home was built in 1930 in an English cedar shingled style, with 3,240-square-feet of living space on 3.10 acres. There are four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom.
Interior details include original crown molding on the fireplace, built-in shelves and bookcases, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and an all-weather laundry room with full pool bath.
Outside, there’s a covered sun porch, bluestone flooring, heated gunite pool and spa, vine-covered trellis between the tennis court and pool house, and three-car garage.
