In December, news broke that the Amagansett location of Mary’s Marvelous was closing. Earlier this week, Mary Schoenlein announced that the eatery’s Main Street site has officially sold.
In a Facebook post, Schoenlein wrote:
“I would like to thank all of my loyal fans and patrons of the Mary’s Marvelous Amagansett store. It has been my pleasure to serve you for the past 15 years and I am deeply grateful for your business and your support.
“I love the community and the town of Amagansett, so it is with sadness and regret that I say goodbye. We will continue to do business at our 107 Newtown Lane, East Hampton location. I, and my staff, look forward to serving you there. Thank you again, for your tremendous loyalty, friendship, and following. I look forward to seeing you in East Hampton.”
Organic Krush, a cold-pressed juice and food eatery, will be taking the 207 Main Street address.
The commercial listing was sold under agent Lori Macgarva of Douglas Elliman for $575,000. It is 1,100-square feet and has exterior storage space as well as the kitchen and existing equipment inside. There’s patio space outside—perfect for sidewalk seating.
