If you’re going to buy a Hamptons house, it might as well be waterfront, right? Fortunately, there are waterfront homes on the East End that are below the luxury $10 million mark. Unfortunately, anything with a too-good-to-be-true price tag is likely lacking in amenities, or sometimes may not be move-in ready.

However, snagging a waterfront property for a lower cost and doing renovations, updates, or even a teardown could be very well worth the time and energy.
