In 5,784-square-feet of living space, the home at 53 South Road in Westhampton has a custom mahogany entry door, white pine, cherry-stained eastern pine cabinetry, a cedar roof, and custom milled moulding.

Designed by Doug Moyer of Sag Harbor in 2004, this home went on the market in February for $3,100,000. As of this past week, the home is now asking $2,999,000 under listing agent Maria Cunneen of Compass Real Estate.

The property was last sold in 2000 for $425,000.

The home has six bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms on 0.92 acres of land.

In the living room, there’s a brick wood-burning fireplace, dry bar, and three sets of French doors that lead to the back yard.

Though the home was not designed with an open floor plan, the dining room sits off the living room, passed through by an archway.

In the country style kitchen, one will find a breakfast nook, coffee station, wine cooler, center island, and that cherry-stained eastern pine cabinetry that was mentioned earlier.

There are master suites on both the main and second floor, while the second level loft has the other four bedrooms. The main level guest bedroom has its own entry.

The finished lower level is complete with a media or billiards room.

The lush exterior features a gunite pool, pool house, and outdoor shower.
