The home at 328 Gin Lane in Southampton recently closed for the price of $31 million, making it the highest real estate sale in the Hamptons so far this year, reports 27east. The home has been featured on Curbed several times.

Before this, 32 Middle Lane in East Hampton was the highest sale with a closing price of $25 million.

The estate was originally built in 1950 and features four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bath in 2,500-square-feet of living space. At the $31 million sale price, this home went for $12,400 per square foot.

Back in 2014, the home went on the market for $39.5 million before in October of 2015 the price was reduced to $35.5 million. That price tag stuck for almost a full year before going down to $32 million in September of 2016.

On 2.64 acres of oceanfront land, this property features stone terraces, ocean views from the master bedroom, a tennis court, swimming pool, and even an oceanside gazebo.
