The home at 299 Georgica Road in East Hampton just went up for sale with Sotheby’s International Realty, asking $5,750,000.

Built in 1990, the 3,060-square-foot home was most recently sold in September of 2014 for $4,187,500. It’s back on the market with an increase in price by over $1 million. Two-and-a-half years is certainly enough time to do some renovations and updates.

The home has four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, sitting on just over one acre of land. The listing claims that the home features “all new custom interiors,” and by the photos, that doesn’t seem like a fabrication.

The interior has a lot of opportunities for natural light to pour in, such as the living room which features floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the backyard. The living room also has a marble fireplace.

The open floor plan continues to give the home a spacious and airy feel to it, smartly utilizing the square footage of a rather small home. Keep in mind, while this home is just above the average single-family home for the United States, it’s certainly a bit on the smaller side for a luxury market.

The kitchen fireplace is a unique detail that the home provides. The staging for the listing photos sets up some chairs around it, which works nicely for the space but also makes the contemporary home very down to earth.

The master suite has its own wing in the home, and features French doors that lead out to the rear terrace. The master bathroom has dual sinks and dual shower heads in the glass-enclosed shower box.

Outside, one will find a heated gunite salt water pool with landscaping surrounding for privacy, a large outdoor kitchen with a grill, outdoor shower, and three-car garage.
