4 Hamptons homes for sale with full gyms

Get your sweat on

Compass

Honestly, getting to the gym is a drag. Sometimes, a good deal of the effort in working out is actually leaving the house to get to the gym.

Should your gym clothes match? What if you leave your water bottle on the stairclimber during your cool-down and then you forget it? What if your hair tie snaps mid-Spin class? What if that cutie who you always see on Tuesday nights moved his arm day to Wednesday?

All of these struggles (and definitely some others that don’t include avoiding a gym crush) are the inspiration for architects to incorporate home gyms into design plans. So Curbed has compiled four Hamptons homes for sale with killer workout spaces, that way homeowners can get their sweat on in peace.

1 Fernwood Road, Wainscott

This seven bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath house sits at about 5,000-square-feet on 1.1 acre in Wainscott South. The asking price is $5,995,000.

Inside, there’s a double-height great room, gourmet kitchen, office, and three powder rooms. The gym is located on the lower level, where there is also a cinema room.

If the gym isn’t giving you the vitamin D you need, there’s also a 50’ x 16’ heated pool outside, where you can get some laps in. Or, if you’re all done your workout, hang out in the spa.

1060 Noyac Path, Water Mill

OK, this home was definitely made for the athletic type. Not only does it have a seriously full gym (mirror wall and everything), but there’s an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor Har-Tru tennis court, and a billiards room.

Sure, billiards may not be an Olympic sport, but it’s a good way to unwind after a full workout.

The home is 7,500-square-feet in size on a five acre lot, with eight bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms. The asking price is $2,495,000.

544 Hedges Lane, Sagaponack

At $15,995,000, this Sagaponack home is the most expensive featured. Built in 1880, it also looks like the oldest. There is a total of 9,000-square-feet of living space, along with nine bedrooms and 14.5 bathrooms on just over four acres of land.

The guest house on this compound is 2,800-square-feet with six bedrooms, a fireplace, full kitchen and dining room.

Like the previous listing, there’s also a pool and tennis, but what’s unique here is that the gym is in what used to be a barn. By the looks of it, there’s even some space to sit down and relax in there, too.

88 Jessup Lane, Westhampton Beach

And the final home featured is the home that sits the furthest west—a seven bedroom, eight-and-a-half bathroom Westhampton Beach home with 9,000-square-feet of living space on just under a full acre of land.

The home opens up to a double-height entry foyer, which leads into a chef’s kitchen. In the living room, one will find a fireplace, hidden wet bar, and French doors that lead out to a covered porch that sits the entire length of the house.

The gym in this home is the smallest that’s featured, with seemingly the least amount of equipment and space. This gym would be good for those who just need a space to get a little bit of a workout in when they don’t have the time to hit the gym—or their best workout leggings are dirty and they’re stuck wearing old running shorts.
