Sag Harbor home torn down to become a bayfront contemporary

No pool on the property, but the rooftop deck has a hot tub

Brown Harris Stevens

The home at 75 Cliff Drive in Sag Harbor just went up for sale, asking $5,100,000.

The home is currently being built in a contemporary design. There are only architectural renderings of the house and floor plans available, but according to the listing it will be about 3,500-square-feet with four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

However, according to public record, the structure on the property was once much different.

Unfortunately there are no photos available, but let’s use the imagination, shall we?

The structure that was previously on the property was a single-family home built in 1991 at a mere 960-square-feet. Which means the new construction is going to be over three times the size that the home used to be. It was a two-story colonial style home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fireplace.

It was last sold in 2003 for $860,000.

The current structure has custom mahogany and floor-to-ceiling aluminum glass windows. The master suite features two walk-in closets, a fireplace, and bathroom with a large soaking tub.

Outside, there’s a deck leading straight out to the water and the rooftop deck has a hot tub.

It’s hard to tell what the home is going to be like as the listing only has architectural renderings available, but the floor plans do give some insight to the finished product.

Photos of the home are definitely something to look forward once they become available.
