Mark Ronson sells Amagansett beach house

Grammy Award-winning artist Mark Ronson, who became particularly known for doing “Uptown Funk” with Bruno Mars, has sold his Amagansett beach house.

The house was listed at $1,450,000 with Lynda Packard of Douglas Elliman. The contract officially closed earlier this week.

At 1,400-square-feet on a lot that’s only 0.17-acres in size right in the Amagansett Dunes, the home is small to the say the least, but has an undeniable charm to it. Though, it must be noted that the home could use a bit of upgrading in the kitchen and bathroom.

The four bedroom, two bath house has wood beamed ceilings and an outside deck with an outdoor shower. The beach house seems more like a place to relax and perhaps entertain a guest or two, but nothing too fancy.

Which leads us to the question: Is Mark Ronson upgrading to a bigger, more expensive, lavish Hamptons home?

After having achieved massive success and recognition with “Uptown Funk,” it’s possible. Only time will tell.
