The home at 189 Further Lane in East Hampton just cut its price tag by almost $3 million. The home—originally listed at $19.75 million—is now asking $16.9 million.

The estate has been on and off the market since it was listed in October of 2015. This is the first time that it’s seen a change in its price tag.

At 7,400-square-feet on over three acres of land, the home is in one of the most sought-after areas of East Hampton. The home features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and three half-baths.

Notable design elements include curved walnut entry doors and stone floors. The listing describes the kitchen as “top of the line,” and there’s a large screened-in porch that looks big enough to be a space for outdoor dining or just somewhere to sit and enjoy the nice weather when it’s around.

The lower level is completely finished and is host to a screening room and catering kitchen. In addition to the master suite, the four other bedrooms are all ensuite.

The master suite features a raised sitting area that’s separated by a wall with a wide archway, leading out to a private balcony. The master suite also features a full master bath, with a soaking tub and oversized steam shower.

The guest master suite also has a private balcony with a separate sitting room.

Outside, one will find an ocean view teak observation deck on the roof of the house. But on the actual grounds, there is a gated driveway lined with foliage, gardens surrounding the heated pool (which, by the way, has a waterfall), private hot tub, tennis court, and three-car garage.

The poolside cabana has a gym, summer kitchen, and changing room.
