The Double Diamond house of Westhampton Beach is back on the market as a summer rental, as reported by Newsday. The home was designed in 1958 by Andrew Geller, a modernist architect, and restored by CookFox Architects in 2013.
Jonathan Pearlroth inherited the 600-square-foot home from his father and worked with CookFox to move the structure closer to Dune Road in order to make room on the property for a larger home. A saltwater gunite pool sits between the two houses.
Though the Double Diamond house only has the space for a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and some lounge space, the larger house certainly compensates at 4,200-square-feet. The five bedroom, four-and a-half bathroom house has two fireplaces, a media room, and dry and steam sauna.
