The property is surrounded by reserves

Halsey Lane, one of the Hamptons most sought-after property locations in Bridgehampton, just got a new home on the market, up for sale at $8,495,000.

The home was built in 2003 as a traditional style home, with five bedrooms and six-and a-half bathrooms. The structure is 5,500-square-feet and sits on a one acre lot. It was designed by John Laffey, a Hamptons-based architect.

The home, sitting south of the highway, is surrounded by reserves. It features an eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, and breakfast area, along with an exercise room, finished basement, media room, office, library, and what looks like a sauna from the listing photos.

The home features hardwood floors and light-colored walls, allowing for the space to be easily customized to the new homeowner’s liking. The glass doors in the living room leading out to the patio provides a classic Hamptons touch.

The listing leaves some aspects ambiguous, however. For example, the space above the garage—is it a separate apartment? Is that the bonus room? Maybe the offie and library is up there? There’s some uncertainty here that leaves the potential buyer curious.

Unfortunately, there are also no photos of the surrounding area. But! The home is still worth a look. After all, a listing can only give so much information.
