The structure is refreshingly cozy

Taking a step away from luxury Hamptons estates, a foursquare style home just went on the market in Bridgehampton with an asking price of $1,695,000.

The property is refreshingly cozy, while still having some of the amenities that buyers often expect in East End properties.

It is located south of the highway and is close to both the village and ocean beaches. The three bedroom, two bath house features a spacious living room, large eat-in kitchen, a screened-in porch, and hot tub.

While the price tag is still expensive (in typical Hamptons fashion), it’s worth noting that the median sales price for Bridgehampton homes is between $3.5 and $4 million. However, the kitchen needs updating, and the property lacks a pool. Looking at the listing, it also appears that there isn’t a master suite.

But! The attic is finished, and the chimney running through it is pretty cute. And the screened-in porch is pretty big for a property this size. The attic would make a great bonus room for kids or even an office.

At 1,800-square-feet on a half-acre lot, this house is just waiting for a family to call it home. And maybe update the kitchen.
