A traditional style home on Flying Point Road in Water Mill just came on the market with an asking price of $7,750,000.
The home was built in 2010, but according to the listing, it is in “perfect, near new condition.” Judging by the photos, the description seems like it might be accurate. Perhaps the previous owners used it as a summer home but never really ended up coming out to the Hamptons very often. Or, maybe they just left it in great condition.
Hopefully the new owners will spend a lot of time in the home, as it is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately it’s not a waterfront home and doesn’t have beach access or docking rights.

However, judging by the aerial shots featured on the listing, it looks like it’s just a quick drive to the ocean. The home is south of the highway, and close to Flying Point Beach—one of the most noteworthy beaches on the East End.

The kitchen in particular is wide-open, leading into a breakfast area and out to a screened-in dining porch with a fireplace. This dining area would do well for entertaining or beautiful family dinners that mosquitoes won’t be apt to bother.
