North Sea home that the Kardashians rented just reduced in price by $1.2M

It’s now listed for $12.75M

When the Kardashians spent the summer of 2014 in the Hamptons, filming Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons, they rented out 317 and 319 Noyac Road in North Sea. At the time, the home was priced for $295,000 from Memorial Day to Labor Day and for sale at $13.95M.

The home at 317 Noyac is still for sale, and the price of the home was reduced by $1.2 million on Monday, March 13 according to Trulia. It looks like this is the first time that the asking price has been reduced, currently at $12,750,000.

The 8,900-square-foot home sits on a two-acre lot and includes a private dock. It’s located on a cute peninsula in North Sea, allowing both privacy and broad water views. At 85-feet long, the dock can moor two or three boats.

It has five bedrooms, six-and a-half baths, large windows and glass doors throughout, a heated pool, and outdoor fireplace.

One might think that the Kardashians would rent a home on the ocean or in Southampton village, but this home sits on the bay and is significantly farther north, away from the village.

When news broke that the family would be renting this property, one commenter pointed out that this home makes perfect sense for the family. It’s very private, “there are not neighbors on three sides,” and many people watching the show won’t “appreciate the difference between waterfront in [North Sea] and ‘oceanfront [Hamptons] mansion’”.

But, the reason that the Kardashians chose a more modest home in the Hamptons (the use of “modest” here being, of course, relative to their understood wealth and the extravagance that people tend to lean towards on the East End), could simply be that the family just liked the house better than the oceanfront homes that were available for rent at the time.
