Last summer, anonymous billionaires rented the former East Hampton summer home of John F. Kennedy’s wife, Jackie Kennedy Onassis. The New York Post recently revealed the identity of the renters: Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and his wife Dasha Zhukova

On September 2016, Curbed Hamptons featured the summer home when it listed for $38,995,000. Homebuyers also had the chance to nab an adjacent parcel of land containing a tennis court for an additional $14,995,000.

Kennedy lived in the East Hampton single-family home until around the age of 12. Over the following summers, Kennedy continued to visit the property, known as Lasata. The home is currently owned by fashion designer Reed Krakoff.

The residence was constructed in 1917 by architect Arthur C. Jackson with a horse stable and multiple vegetable gardens. It was later restored in 2007. It features a one-bedroom guest house as well as a three-car detached garage and a two-bedroom pool house.

Other last-minute highlights include a screened-in porch, beamed ceilings, and over seven acres of land. There are a total of 10 bedrooms and 10-and-a-half bathrooms across the 8,500-square-foot property.
