The home at 41 Herrick Road in Southampton came on the market back in March for $13.75 million under Corcoran Group Real Estate’s agent Tim Davis. After about five months up for sale, the home saw its first price cut, bringing it down to $11.95 million, and just this week another $1.05 million was taken from the asking price.
It’s now listed for $10.9 million, which means almost $3 million has come off the price tag since it was listed earlier this year.
The newly built estate—which stands a massive 12,900 square feet between four levels—was put in the name of an LLC in 2015, alongside property owners Vyto and Patricia Kab. Vyto Kab was an NFL tight end after being drafted in 1982 from Penn State. Over the course of his career, he played for the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Detroit Lions.
The shingle-style home has seven ensuite bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms in total, a great room, a sunroom, five fireplaces, a wine cellar, a gym, and a four-car garage. Outside, there are bluestone terraces, a large veranda, a heated in-ground pool, spa, outdoor shower, and pool cabana.
