A bayfront Hampton Bays inn & restaurant lists for $4.75M

Located on Lighthouse Road in Hampton Bays, what’s currently the Inn Spot on the Bay inn and restaurant is now for sale for $4.75 million under Sotheby’s International Realty agents Gloria Joseph and Lawrence Ingolia.

Built in 1857, there’s 4,000 square feet of commercial space on just under an acre of bayfront land in Hampton Bays. Located just before the Ponquogue Bridge leading to ocean beaches, the spot is centrally situated near the strip of Hampton Bays restaurants and bars that become a nightlife hot spot in the summer.

The property features private colorful cottages, a 13-room inn, and a restaurant with veranda dining on the property, plus 140 feet of bulkheaded waterfront and a 125-foot dock that, according to the listing, can “accommodate several boats.” There’s also a staff quarters building.

Given its location, this commercial property has a lot to offer and a lot of potential. In under an acre of land, it’s already utilizing the property space for dining and private waterfront accommodation. Plus, it’s close to the Ponquogue Bridge and a short scenic walk or bike ride to the ocean.
