Earlier this week, Curbed asked readers what they thought the asking price was on this four-bedroom modern home on a waterfront property in North Haven. According to the poll that we took, most readers—about 36 percent—thought that the home was listed for between $7 million and $9 million—but the home is actually listed for $10.7 million, under Corcoran Group Real Estate agent Mala Sander.
About 27 percent of readers guessed in the correct category, while about 20 percent low-balled the price at between $5 million and $7 million. The highest and lowest categories—under $5 million and over $11 million—each got only five votes.
The newly-constructed modern home has 4,500 square feet of space with four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom. The 0.6-acre property is located on Sag Harbor Bay, and the home aims to capture all of the water views from every angle with walls of glass throughout the entire space.
Interior features include an open floor plan, double-story windows, a custom kitchen, and a dual vanities in the master bathroom. The home has a steel frame construction and 180-degree views of the bay, Shelter Island, and Northwest Harbor.
Outside, there’s a heated pool, outdoor shower, beach rights, and a dock could potentially be built on the property.
