The oceanfront home at 47 Dune Road in East Quogue just relisted under Brown Harris Stevens agent Deirdre DeVita for $12 million—a $2 million increase since it was last on the market earlier this year for $9,999,999, for sale under the owner.

The 4,752-square-foot beachfront home last sold in 2013 for $5.6 million, and since then it’s been renovated. Built in 2004, the structure sits on 1.41 acres of land with six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, and ocean and bay views. Interior features include coffered ceilings, new hardwood flooring, an open floor plan, French doors that lead to the exterior, and vaulted ceilings in each of the bedrooms.

In the master suite, one will find a fireplace and private waterview deck. All of the upstairs bedrooms have French doors that lead out to a communal deck that spans the length of the home.

Outside, there’s a mahogany deck, gunite pool, pool cabana with a full bathroom, and a private walkway that leads down to the property’s private beach with 102 feet of direct ocean frontage.

We love the hardwood floors, light interiors, and flow between the living and dining spaces. The U-shaped kitchen features tons of counter space and a large center island, perfect for prepping large meals or entertaining. We’re thinking the home could use a few unique features, but the neutral palette allows for a lot of variance in design for the new owner to explore.
