Almost two years ago in January of 2016, a newly built manse with 10,300 square feet of living space hit the market at 39 West Pond Drive in Bridgehampton for $8.75 million, after the property sold in 2015 for $2,725,000 as an empty lot. It sits waterfront on Kellis Pond.

The home just relisted under Corcoran Group Real Estate agents Pam Jackson and Tim Davis for a bit less than it was asking before, now priced at $7.9 million. Referred to as “Field of Dreams,” the home was built by Jon Bognacki of Privet Development Group and features eight bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, one half-bathroom, five fireplaces, custom shiplap, and custom woodwork.

There’s also a double-height foyer, eight-inch white oak floors, Calacatta marble countertops in the kitchen, and walls of windows that accordian out to the exterior. Outside, one will find a limestone patio, outdoor fireplace, saltwater heated gunite pool, a 400-square-foot pool house, and a three-car garage.

Two master suites can be found in the home—one on the first floor, which has its own outdoor fireplace, and the second-floor master suite which is located in its own wing. The primary master suite features a sitting room, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and a private mahogany terrace.

In the finished lower level, there’s a home theater, spa, yoga studio or gym, and two guest bedrooms.

Next door at 35 West Pond Drive, a 7,800-square-foot home that hasn’t been finished yet sits on 1.6 acres and is asking $7,995,000. Right across Kellis Pond at 7 Kellis Way, a 6,200-square-foot home with six bedrooms and seven bedrooms on just under a full acre is listed for $4,495,000.

Given the nearby homes, we’re thinking that this is priced right—though it’s worth mentioning that it does sit very close to Montauk Highway.
