Sag Harbor’s restored traditional style homes never fail to blow us away. Located at 59 Glover Street—which is off Main Street and Long Island Avenue on the western side of Sag Harbor village, about a half-mile from village shops—is an updated home on a half-acre waterfront property.

The home itself is just over 3,000 square feet with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, plus room for expansion. Outside, there’s a new dock, dining patios, a heated gunite pool, a boathouse or cabana, and western-facing sunset views.

The property last sold in 2003 for $1.96 million, then the home was built in 2009. It’s been mostly available to rent in the past—in 2012, it was asking $85,000 per month. Since being built, this is the first time that the home has been on the market, listed under Brown Harris Stevens agent Andrea Ackerman for $8.25 million.

While it’s waterfront, the price seems a bit ambitious. Down the street, the bayfront home at 22 Vitali Cilli Avenue is on a slightly smaller lot (0.48 acres), with 4,205 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms. Built in 1997, it sold in 2007 for $600,000 and was listed for sale in 2015 for $7.1 million, but that listing was removed shortly after.
