The late Rosalind Paige Cole’s oceanfront Bridgehampton home went on the market back in June of this year for $10.25 million under Douglas Elliman agent Carol Nobbs, after coming on and off the market a bit in the last few years. A contract was signed on the 0.6-acre property earlier this month and it is currently pending a sale. Once the sale goes through, this will be the second time the home has sold in two years.

The home last sold in 2015 for $7.5 million after listing for $11 million a year prior. Carol Nobbs represented the home at that time, too.

Rosalind Paige Cole was a famed literary agent who represented names like Andy Warhol and Charlie Chaplin Jr. She famously lived in the Waldorf Astoria for 53 years, making her the hotel’s longest-residing tenant—though at the time of her death in 2014, she owed $818,000 to the hotel in debts.

Her previous Bridgehampton home stands 1,200 square feet in size with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the listing suggested a teardown.

Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects have plans in place for a 6,700-square-foot modern sustainable home, which probably maxes out the buildable space on the half-acre property. If the new owner chooses to go through with the plans, the new home will have decking, an oceanfront pool and spa, and patios.
