Earlier this month, we showed readers the home at 443 Sagg Road in Sagaponack, a waterfront home that last sold just three years ago in 2014 for $5.2 million and came back on the market in 2016 for a whopping $14,995,000 after renovations.

The home came off the market and relisted earlier this month under Nest Seekers agent Geoff Gifkins. After just two weeks up for sale, it’s already come down in asking price. Currently, the home is listed for $13.75 million.

Built in 2007, the home stands 6,100 square feet with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms on two acres of land. Features include Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, three fireplaces, pond views from inside, and a full home theater. Outside, the property has 300 feet of direct water frontage on Sagg Pond, a private dock, heated gunite pool, spa, and koi pond.

We were shocked at the increase in price that the home had, even after renovations—especially since the neighboring home at the 471 address is, yes, smaller at 2,400 square feet on 1.5 acres of land, but it’s asking $5 million, which doesn’t even seem comparable to this home.

So the first price cut isn’t unexpected, but we’re wondering what it will eventually sell for. Leave your thoughts on the price and the home in the comments.
