Just this week, the oceanfront home at 317 Murray Place in Southampton took a whopping $10 million off its asking price under listing agents Cody and Zachary Vichinsky of Bespoke Real Estate, putting it at a still-steep $55 million.

In July of 2016, the estate was listed for $75 million, but that price has changed a bit since then. It then came off the market and was relisted in November of 2016 for $59 million, but tacked on $1 million a month later. Then, not too soon after that, another $5 million was added to the asking price, putting it at the most recent list of $65 million.

Built in 1990, the home has 9,200 square feet but just four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. There’s also a double-height foyer, great room, exposed barn wood beams in the dining room, two ovens in the kitchen as well as hand inlaid brick flooring and a wine closet, and a private entrance off the guest suites.

The master suite is located on the second floor, and features a private oceanview balcony, a marble encased shower, marble countertops, and a steam shower.

Situated on 3.6 acres of land, the property is in an X-Zone, allowing for subterranean building.
