What/Where: A renovated cottage from 1966 in south-of-the-highway Water Mill.
Size: 2,100 square feet, 0.53 acres

This week’s PriceSpotter is a renovated cottage in Water Mill with 2,100 square feet of living space, in which there are three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Originally built in 1966, the home has been recently renovated to bring it up to date with new flooring, a new roof, and a fresh coat of paint.

On a half-acre of land, there is mature landscaping and a heated gunite pool.

The listing suggests an expansion and building a second story—our guess is that the zoning doesn’t allow for a much larger expansion outwards, and that building up would be the way to go to achieve a larger structure. Then again, the home is still more than 2,000 square feet, which is a decent size.

Interior features include hardwood floors, a fireplace and skylights in the living room, an open kitchen, sliding glass doors that lead out to the patio from the master suite, and his and hers dual vanities in the master bathroom.

Here’s a hint: The home last sold in 2016 for $2,275,000.
