Originally built in 1906, the home at 253 Cove Hollow Road in the Georgica section of East Hampton just came on the market under Compass listing agent Ed Petrie and Sotheby’s International Realty agents Frank Newbold and Beate Moore for $16.9 million. The home stands 6,600 square feet on three gated acres of land.

The main house—which has seven bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms—underwent a complete renovation in 2002. Also on the property stands a 1,500-square-foot barn that legally doubles as a guest house, and a detached three-car garage.

Interior features include vaulted ceilings, 13-foot high ceilings, an eat-in chef’s kitchen, paneled library, French doors that lead out to stone terraces, and a master suite with a fireplace and a private deck. The guest house has a double-height great room which boasts 22-foot high ceilings.

Outside, there’s a heated swimming pool, Har-Tru tennis courts, bluestone stairways off the terraces, and gardens.

Nearby, the waterfront home at 11 Cove Hollow Farm Road recently sold for $11 million. That home—built in 1997—stands 7,500 square feet on three acres of land, and was also listed under Compass agent Ed Petrie.
