Just two weeks after the empty lot that for was for sale alongside Lasata, Jackie Kennedy’s East Hampton summer home, went into contract, the contract for the estate itself was signed. Located at 121 Further Lane in East Hampton, the compound went on the market in May of this year, meaning it’s been on the market for just five months.
Fashion designer Reed Krakoff is the most recent owner of the home.
The estate and the empty lot went into contract from two separate buyers. Carol Nobbs and Eileen O’Neill of Douglas Elliman brought the buyers for the 8,500-square-foot home, but the property was co-listed with Corcoran Group agent Susan Breitenbach and Brown Harris Stevens agent Peter Turino.
In May, the estate and the property went up for sale for a combined price of $51.99 million, with the home alone asking a little under $40 million. Most recently, the home had a $29,995,000 asking price.
In 8,500 square feet of living space, there are 10 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms. Designed by Arthur Jackson in 1917, the home has been fully renovated and sits on just over seven acres of land.
