Located at 144 Paul’s Lane, which is right off Newlight Lane in between Water Mill and Bridgehampton, sits a 8,900-square-foot modern home that’s been newly renovated and asking $7,895,000 under Saunders Real Estate agent Jennifer Wilson.

The home sold in 1998 for $980,000. More recently, it sold in December of 2013 for $5.8 million and was updated. Originally built in 1992, the home has 6,500 square feet of living space above-ground, and 2,500 square feet of space on the finished lower level, sitting on 1.93 acres of land south of the highway.

There are eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms, as well as a brand new kitchen and a wall of glass doors that stretch across the length of the living room. Throughout the home, high ceilings, skylights, and exposed beams can be found.

The master suite—which includes a luxurious bathroom, sitting room, and walk-in closets—overlooks the backyard, where one will find a saltwater gunite pool, bluestone dining patio, and outdoor kitchen.

Let’s check out some before and after photos of the home:

We’d say the renovations were successful in bringing the home up to date.
