Joy Behar sells her East Hampton home

New, 1 comment

But where to next?

Joy Behar has good taste when it comes to property, and that translates into selling fairly quickly. After putting her latest Hamptons property on the market in the spring, we can report that it’s been sold. Where to next, Joy? She was looking in Sag Harbor and was actually going to buy in Watchcase, but according to a source, "Her friends said, ‘Are you crazy?’ for spending so much."

Ms. Behar purchased the East Hampton home, a 4000 square foot traditional just outside the village, in 2012 for $2.875M. Last asking price was $3.45M, a very fair price for the property set on three-quarters of an acre. The numerous outdoor terraces (one with a fireplace), gunite pool and farm field views make for a very attractive exterior, while inside, the steepled ceiling in the great room, cute seating nooks in the bedrooms, and simple white marble kitchen and baths make for an inviting interior.
