There’s nothing really wrong with this house, except that it’s too modest for its location: a few updates are in order, but nothing major. However, it’s probably destined to be torn down. The 4200 square feet includes five bedrooms, including first and second floor masters, plus a separate apartment above the garage with kitchen and bath.
Of course the main attraction is the land: five acres near Georgica Pond, overlooking a seven acre reserve with its own freshwater pond. Zoning would allow for a 12,000 square foot house and tennis court. There is already a modest gunite pool and spa but that will probably be removed anyway. As for the price, it strikes us as reasonable: properties seem to go for about $3M-4M per acre in the area.
