A big part of life in the Hamptons involves drumming up money for charity, and the Southampton Hospital recently threw its annual Summer Party. Raising more than $1.3M, this event is pretty important, because the population on the East End is bursting at the seams during the summertime. Obviously, treating the sick and wounded is a big priority and having a Level III adult trauma center takes funding.
NBC’s Chuck Scarborough emceed the night, and attendees included Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and Douglas Elliman Real Estate Chairman Howard M. Lorber. Groove Society set the dance floor on fire amidst a classic tent with dramatic gold shell centerpieces. So, the next time you suffer a Rosé overdose or dramatic ring injury (hello, Jimmy Fallon!), don’t forget to thank all the fabulous people living it up on your behalf. Sometimes, partying saves lives!
