See gorgeous homes and beautiful gardens on a tour to benefit breast cancer

Plenty of contemporary art

Wainscott resident Samantha Daniels has organized the first annual Tour Decor: exceptional Hamptons houses and gardens to benefit the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Samantha, a professional matchmaker, has created the event in honor of her mother Donna Daniels, who sadly passed away from the disease. "Wonderful home decor and romantic gardens was something that my mother truly loved, so it felt organic to create a house tour in her memory, especially in the Hamptons where I have resided every summer since graduating from college," said Daniels. "Her favorite flower was the rubrum lily, so you will see a vase of them at every home."

On the tour, you’ll see the home of famous interior designer Tony Ingrao and its Versailles-like gardens; the home of the contemporary art collector, philanthropist and wife of the late senator Bonnie Lautenberg, including one-of-a-kind photographs of Lady Gaga; hedge funder and art collector Adam Sender’s 50-acre property, with its own lake and sunken trampoline. Other highlights are a restored nineteenth century barn, an underwater grotto, a petting zoo, and a mirrored pool with spa.

How it works: you’ll be given a map of the homes and tickets to enter each home. Then from 11AM to 4PM, tour the homes in whatever order you choose. At 4PM, VIP ticket holders will visit the extra bonus house and attend a cocktail party there,

Costs are as follows: VIP tickets are $250, which includes brunch, tour, bonus house, cocktail party, and a goodie bag. General admission tickets, which includes brunch and tour only, are $100 before August 11 or if under 30 years old;$140 thereafter. Tickets will be sold if available. Raindate is Sunday, August 21.
