Good news: la new vintage and consignment shop right in East Hampton called the Hamptons Gather. The shop will specialize in consignment and sales of antiques, architectural salvage, eclectic home décor, and hand-crafted artisan items from around the world as well as offering tag and estate sale management and appraisal services.
Principals will include local architect Erica Broberg Smith; Romaine Gordon, a former owner/partner of Falk & Gordon Interiors, a decorating and design business; Vincent Manzo , who boasts over 35 years of experience identifying, appraising and working with antiques, unique artifacts and artwork. Vincent partnered with Martha Stewart in creating The Yard Sale, a store overflowing with antiques and eclectic merchandise that was a popular East Hampton destination for over 20 years. Phyllis Sullivan brings with her decades of experience in the day to day management and sales of antiques on the East End.
Erica says, “With antiquing becoming even more timely in the age of recycle and reuse, it is our hope that Hampton Gather becomes the destination for and a symbol of the revitalization of treasure hunting for vintage artifacts, eclectic finds and antiques that so many of us used to enjoy in our local villages.”
The shop will open August 19 at 94 Newtown Lane, East Hampton.
