We loved everything about it but the price—which was $3.95M—but apparently that was no object to some lucky buyer. We’re referring, of course, to Matt Lauer’s adorable waterfront cottage in North Sea, which was listed July 1. It’s in contract already.
It’s certainly been an exciting few weeks for the Lauer family! First they purchased Richard Gere’s Strongheart estate in North Haven, then they listed this place, and then yesterday put their main home in Noyack on the market.
There’s a lot to love about this cottage, with its rose-covered arbor, white-painted vintage kitchen, and updated pastels. The house is an 1800 square foot cape with three bedrooms, two baths, and the living room is opened up with vintage beams.
The property offers 85 feet of bulkheaded waterfront on Wooley Pond with a dock. There’s wraparound decking overlooking the water and the lawn. Plot size is 0.75 of an acre. Congrats to the new owner and we’ll be sure to check out how much you paid.
