Last week, we were the first to bring you the news that Matt Lauer was the buyer of Richard Gere’s Strongheart estate. Lauer is selling his Noyack main home (not yet publicly listed) and this adorable waterfront cottage in North Sea. It’s so sweet, with its rose-covered arbor, white-painted vintage kitchen, and updated pastels, we want to eat it with a spoon.
It offers 85 feet of bulkheaded waterfront on Wooley Pond with a dock. There’s wraparound decking overlooking the water and the lawn. Plot size is 0.75 of an acre.
The house is an 1800 square foot cape with three bedrooms, two baths. The living room is opened up with vintage beams and the baths are nicely updated. As for the asking price of nearly $4M, that strikes us as somewhat high, though there’s clearly nothing a new buyer needs to do.
