Gotta hand it to Corcoran agent Susan Breitenbach: she’s managed to sell two market laggards in double-quick time. First Lloyd Blankfein’s Sagaponack property, on the market since 2007, and now Richard Gere’s, on the market since 2013.
According to the New York Post, not only has Gere sold Strongheart, he got close to his new asking price of $36.5M, which he cut just a month ago. Back in 2013, the hilarious asking price was $65M; then the ask was shaved to a still-humorous $56M in spring 2014, and down again to $47M in late summer 2014.

Strongheart was built in 1902 but has been renovated and expanded since then, with two additional guest houses, an outdoor fireplace pavilion, and of course a tea house set in the middle of a pond in front of the coastline.
