It’s amazing what a neutral palette and a couple of new couches can do for a space. We formerly brought you this house at 42 Moses Lane in Southampton and told you about the rather steep $3.8 million price tag. Yes, yes, it was charming and well done, but we still thought the ask was a bit high for 4,400 square feet. Well, the market has certainly changed, because the same place is back on the market for just under $5 million. There’s no arguing that the house is beautiful, but we can’t understand the massive increase. Aside from the décor (which we assume isn’t included in the sale of the house), we don’t see too many differences. What do you think, should this property now command nearly $5 million?
