Wölffer Estates launches a new Rosé in the Hamptons

Life through rosé colored glasses

There’s something about the Hamptons and rosé that just goes together during the summertime. Perhaps it’s that our local winery, Wölffer Estates, aptly named one of their rosé wines Summer in a Bottle. The name might not be lacking in subtlety, but it sums up the East End incredibly well. Wölffer Estates and their much beloved rosé wines are a big part of our local color. So, we’re pretty excited about the winery launching the 2016 vintage of Finca Wölffer Rosé in local liquor stores on July 1, 2016. Wölffer’s winemaker Roman Roth teamed up with Argentinian winemakers Susana Balbo and Josè Loviglio to create an even more nuanced vintage. With an enhanced understanding of lightness and acidity, expect to find notes of gooseberries, strawberries, and apples. Influences from the Andes coupled with the crispness of a traditional Wölffer wine have us ready to embrace the winery’s latest rosé.
