Your First Look at the 2016 Hampton Designer Showhouse

A gambrel on three acres

Ah, we love showhouse season! This year’s Hampton Designer Showhouse is in Noyack, backing onto a park and near golf courses. Tours of the gambrel-style home (tickets priced at $35) begin Sunday, July 24, and will run until Labor Day, Monday, September 5. The preview cocktail party is Saturday, July 23 (tickets $225). As usual, proceeds benefit Southampton Hospital.

The house, set on three acres, was built by built by Bodenchak Design & Build. It boasts eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms, including first- and second-floor master suites. Traditional on the exterior, the home’s interior is more modern with a floating staircase with glass railings and a folding glass wall in the kitchen, which opens to a covered patio. Other features include an elevator, home theater, and wine cellar. It will be listed for sale at around $5M.

Mario Buatta is the Honorary Showhouse Chairman and Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton are the Honorary Design Co-Chairmen.
