Modern Chinese eatery Jue Lan Club, which opened in December in the former Limelight space, is expanding to Southampton this summer. Opening Memorial Day weekend, the restaurant will be at 268 Elm Street, most recently Circo's and Delmonico's. Restaurateur Stratis Morfogen says, "As a resident of Southampton, opening Jue Lan Club in the Hamptons was always part of my vision for the brand."
Named after the Jue Lan Society, a secret Chinese art club from the 1930’s, the eatery will serve dishes including drunken sea bass, braised oxtail bao buns, shrimp crystal dumplings, and chicken satay. Later, the restaurant will transform into a nightclub, The Barn @ Jue Lan Club.
Jue Lan Club Southampton will be open Monday & Wednesday from 5pm to 12am, Thursday-Friday from 5pm to 1am, Saturday from 5pm to 4am for dinner and Sunday from 5pm to midnight (closed Tuesday), Saturday Dim Sum brunch from 11:30am to 5pm, Sunday from 11:30am to 5pm and the late night lounge will be open Thursday – Saturday.
