The Skinny: This architect-designed new build, with an open layout, features a cedar exterior, mahogany decks, Italian fixtures in the 6.5 baths, and a rubber roof. We like the interesting tile work in the bathrooms, too. The lower level is completely finished and ready to fit out as a media room, playroom, gym, or whatever. The grounds are nicely done with a cascading waterfall by the pool (we don’t care how Long-Island-suburban they are, we love them) and pretty plantings, and mature trees provide privacy. There’s also a private residents’ beach and boat launch nearby.
