Some updates on a couple of properties featured on CH in the past, and one we didn't. First up is the one we didn't post about, 84 Meeting House Lane in Amagansett, mainly because there was only one uninspiring exterior photo of a teardown, below. Still, the property, with 3/4 of an acre of land in the hot Lanes, sold for a cool $3,350,500.
Next up is 196 Bay Lane, Water Mill, above, which we called "stunning" last summer. Hey, we have a thing for interiors designed by Steven Gambrel, what can we say. Particularly nice features are the wine room (we call that "every room" in our house), the master suite, the artist's studio, the dining pergola, rustic firepit, and a small private dock. The sunken tennis court has its own pavilion with gym and the pool house offers a sweet little cupola and roof deck. Ask for the eight-bedroom, on 2.7 acres, was $32.95M; someone got a good deal, paying $27.25M for the place.
Another high-end deal was for 649 Hedges Lane, Sagaponack, which was decorated by James Michael Howard, with all furnishings included in the sale. Notable is the lavish master suite, with his-and-hers bathrooms and closets, a sitting room, fireplace and private balcony. The lower level includes a gym, rec room, home theater with tiered seating and concession area, and a staff suite. Outside, there's 1.5 acres of land with a sunken tennis court, a 50' gunite pool and spa and pool house. Asking price of $15.95M was whittled down by a savvy buyer who got it for $14.25M.
Congrats to all the new owners.
